Historic Marker Dedication Ceremony for Norman J Colman

Dedication ceremony in Greenville, Indiana for the Norman J Colman historic marker. Colman was the first US Secretary of Agriculture and started his career as the first Principal in Greenville at the Floyd County Seminary in 1850. The Greenville Historic Preservation Commission installed the marker in front of Greenville Elementary School as a symbolic gesture to Colman's time as Principal in Greenville and held the ceremony on November 1st, 2020.
