Casey's General Store Design Plan for Greenville

Over the last couple of months, the Town Council and town engineer have been reviewing design plans and building ordinances with Casey's General Store.  The project has moved forward and next month engineers from the Casey's construction division are slated to meet with the Town Council.  The planned construction is at the corner of Hwy 150 and Cross St. in the town center.

The Greenville Historic Preservation Commission is accepting nominations

The Historic Preservation Commission has three remaining seats available for the board.  To be considered for appointment, candidates must either reside or be employed in Floyd County.  Interested candidates are asked to contact Town Councilman Andy Lemon (Chair of Special Projects) at alemon47124@gmail.com to discuss nomination to the Commission.  Once a nomination is received for a qualified candidate, the Town Council shall vote requiring a majority to ratify the nomination.  Members of the Commission serve in a volunteer capacity.

Town of Greenville & Greenville Water Utility Launch a Brand New Website! Subscribe Today!

We are really excited to announce that the Town of Greenville has a new and improved website. The design incorporates several additional features such as being able to pay your Greenville Water Utility bill via credit card, e-check, and telephone, even scheduling future payments. Residents can contact the Greenville Police Department and the Greenville Volunteer Fire Department directly through the website. Additional features include things like subscribing to news and alerts such as boil advisories and having those notifications sent to you via text and/or email. So please be sure to subscribe to notifications.
